Yes is it - Sutton Youth Radio Ltd.

As a charity, this means we rely on funding to continue operating each year and we also have volunteers at the station that work hard to keep the station alive so that we can continue to do what we do.

Our main aim is to train young people in the art of radio and the media industry thus giving them experience and the confidence to possibly progess further in this field or other career paths and life in years to come.

As a charity ourselves, Takeover Radio has a difficult task of finding funding for yearly running costs to keep the station alive, so all resources are targeted to maximising effort to keep the station going.

I'd like to be a presenter, can you help?

If you are aged between 8-14, Takeover Radio regularly hosts training courses on radio presentation and news presentation.

If you are aged between 16-24, Takeover Radio runs a course with a full qualification in conjunction with Sutton Centre College
